An avid sportsman, Yogi captained St. Stephen’s College and Delhi University at squash, represented St. Stephen’s at tennis and water-polo, Cambridge University and Cambridgeshire at squash, and Churchill College (University of Cambridge) at cricket, tennis, squash, badminton, football and hockey. Further, he captained Rajasthan at squash and tennis, and was also nationally ranked at squash. He won the Jaipur District and the Rajasthan State Tennis Championships. He was the Hony. Secretary of the International Lawn Tennis Club of India.
